Sri Lanka bats 1st in final ODI in SA hoping to avoid 5-0

CAPE TOWN, South Africa — Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first in the final one-day international against South Africa on Saturday hoping to avoid a 5-0 series loss.

Sri Lanka still hasn't won an ODI in 2019 after losing 3-0 in New Zealand in January.

South Africa's JP Duminy and Imran Tahir will play their final ODIs at home after announcing they will retire from 50-over internationals after the Cricket World Cup later this year.
