With this new comprehensive training option launched by the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, students can complete the bulk of their schooling to become an aesthetician at their own convenience, without having to quit their current occupation.

The Dermysk Academy has become known for training aestheticians across Canada, but these new courses allow students to access the same level of training while working primarily from their own homes. Students will still require at least one week of in-person instruction, for practical training, which can be scheduled at any Dermysk training location across Canada.

Courses are currently available at 3 levels: Basic, Advanced, and Master. Students with no experience can enroll in the Basic training, which explores the MedSpa industry, the current best practices in safety and hygiene, and how to perform up to a dozen of the most popular aesthetic techniques.

This Basic course provides all the skills and certifications required to work in a MedSpa anywhere in Canada, and graduates may also return at any time to take a second class. In the Advanced program, which requires either 5 years of MedSpa experience or previous graduation from the Basic course, students can continue their education with individualized business strategies and training in complex techniques.

The Master-level program, which has no official prerequisites, provides an intensive fast-track course for new aestheticians with no prior experience. However, since this course includes all the content from both the Basic and Advanced programs, as well as exclusive training not found elsewhere, the Dermysk Academy reserves the right to limit enrollment to certain highly dedicated students.

All graduates, regardless of their class level, will be enrolled in the Dermysk Academy’s after-graduate support program. This program has no cost or obligation and helps to connect students with job opportunities, new training options, and local industry experts.
